HOW TO LAND YOUR BUSINESS ON A FIRST PAGE OF A MAJOR MAGAZINE… BY SIMPLY LISTENING TO YOUR SOUL’s DESIRES (CASE STUDY)

My client came to me with a simple request – needed to get her and her husband’s handmade furniture business off the ground?

A simple request for selling MORE, you see. But this is never what I deliver (although of course you will sell more, or rather – make more money as a result of working with me… but not by suppressing your soul’s desires baby, not this time).

But really, I recognize future billionaires by the quality of the questions they ask… You want to sell more? set up FB ads and go away:) No time for bullshit, another patchwork business with split energy and mixed messaging borrowed from yet another disposable marketing guru…. fuck no!

So I asked her… what does your soul really want?

Thankfully she was a smart gal. Her answer?

A baby…

and a major Interior Magazine publication…

a soul satisfying business, family life… and a bit of… fame?

And yes, she wanted it all… at the same time (and SURE SHE GOT IT AND MORE, so stay tuned)

HERE’S MY THOUGHT PROCESS (WELCOME TO MY BRAIN)

Okay… so your request for selling “more” is simply illogical. More sales means more work. if you want to keep your price at the same level. And because your product is a bespoke experience, leverage is not possible (furniture renovation business, but this applies to any creative, artist, coach etc). So more work means – less time for a baby, more stress, and less space to enjoy the experience.

That much for the intangibles… let’s get a calculator:

It takes more than 30 hours to complete one piece…. that goes for about 3000$… simple math – you get 100$ per hour of work (!!!!) (minus the cost of material, other biz expenses and so on) like for real, that’s kind of sad…. not to mention economically unjustified…. you must 10x your income now.

Also there is plenty businesses on the market that sell similar “shabby chic” furniture, so competition is high… and I know yours is not shabby chic, but or an unskilled eye it looks like that, this is why you need to set yourself apart from the crowd.

And the best way to do this is?

→ raise you prices NOW
→ find your unique recognition value (no, not the unique selling point, there is a major difference)
→ show you signature process (not the motherfucking system, the PROCESS)
→ talk to RIGHT people, in the right way, of course
→ 10x you income w/o 10x-ing your time input

basically it boils down to this:

STOP SELLING YOUR MASTERPIECE ART LIKE A CHEAP CRAP

and it is not just a beautiful motivational quote

or a pretty slogan

and best of all it’s not exclusive to this particular business

it is hard core, down to earth, business math

My unique ability is that I possess the ability to use my creative and analytical brain at the same time (it’s a simplification of course, the process is much more complex, but I mastered it to perfection and I am accurate as fuck
